In my work, there are no narrative pretensions, no subjects, and no direct references to figures or symbols. There are emotional immersions, translations of inner states, and gestural abstractions.

My love for manual work drives me to seek space and time to engage with it. I am fascinated by the art of mixing materials such as cement, glues, polyurethane foams, and gels, creating pastes with various textures and characteristics. My passion leads me to use a variety of everyday tools and to constantly experiment with new combinations of paints.

My art does not seek perfection, but rather aims to capture the essence of the creative process. My sculptural-pictorial approach can be described as intense and raw, characterized by gestural abstraction that draws in the viewer and gives life to luminous, three-dimensional works through materiality and complex layers of color.

The surfaces I paint on act as recorders of situations, gestures, and emotions. They witness the collision of elements that give the works their material and engaging character.

Physically, my artworks come to life on poplar wood panels that undergo repeated cycles of treatment with varnishes and polyurethane coatings. They are then layered with pastes meticulously created by mixing various chemical and natural elements, such as rock fragments. These pastes are then shaped to form the compositions and spray-painted. Finally, each piece is refined with epoxy resin, giving it extraordinary chromatic depth and durability.

This technique requires precise timing and long, complex production cycles. The result is a series of works that radiate color and materiality. Their chromatic intensity changes depending on the viewer’s position and perspective. Moreover, the pieces are also pleasant to the touch, inviting each observer to immerse themselves in the forms and emotions they evoke.
